You may feel overwhelmed, confused and unsure. We get it, and that’s why we created the Design Action Plan. For an hour or two of your time and a fixed fee, you get the professional interior design advice you need to get your interior decorating project started on the right path.

With the time and money involved in interior decorating projects, you want to be sure you’ll love it. Take the stress, worry, and regret out of making big design decisions by meeting with our team before you get started. We’ll help you determine the right materials, color, and lighting to make your space cohesive, comfortable and a pleasure to live in.

The Design Action Plan is your personalized step-by-step guide to achieving a professional designer look in your own home. We’ll listen to your concerns, take a look at your current setup and offer detailed suggestions for how to turn your home into a place where you truly enjoy spending time and entertaining guests.

Here’s how it works:
  1. Consultation. We meet at your home to begin the decorating consultation. The first step is to get a feel for what you’re unhappy with and what things reflect your personal taste. Then it’s time for us to apply our expertise: taking into account your preferences, we discuss with you our professional opinion on what elements to incorporate. If you’re unsure about what type of window treatments would work in your space, or your backsplash is out-of-date, we’ll thoroughly lay out your options and provide our recommendations. Depending on the scope of your project, this consultation takes 1-2 hours.
  2. Action Plan. After our meeting, the team will put together a detailed written report outlining the decisions we discussed including any important specifics you should be aware of. The plan includes the order in which you should complete the tasks (if applicable), specific brand names, colors, patterns and dimensions and where to find them. What’s more, we’ll outline the theory behind our choices, so that if you need to swap products or make changes at the store, you can feel confident in your buying decisions. We’ll also include styling and accessorizing tips for your collections, artwork or photographs to make sure your space feel uniquely yours.
  3. Extras. Once you have our plan and you’re on your way to making your space beautiful, functional and distinctive, you may still require the guidance and expertise of the LQ Interiors team. To ensure you have everything you need to achieve the look we discussed, we can provide: additional consultations on recommended construction projects, accompaniment on shopping trips, or continued design coaching for an hourly rate. We can also custom design window treatments using our fabric and workroom resources.
  4. Pricing. Depending on the size and complexity of your project, we’ll determine the pricing for your Design Action Plan during the visit to your home. The minimum investment for this package, which includes your consultation and personalized action plan, is $400.
