New Construction Kitchen and Breakfast Room

This new construction project on the Main Line exemplifies the perfect blend of timeless design and modern touches.  From the cabinetry layout to the carefully selected finishes, every detail was meticulously thought out to reflect both function and style. The result is a space that not only enhances the overall aesthetic of the home but also brings warmth and comfort to daily living.

Timeless White Kitchen With a Twist

For this Main Line Interior Design project, we designed a kitchen that exudes both simplicity and sophistication. Sleek quartz countertops with subtle veining offer a durable and elegant surface.  Polished nickel hardware and lighting fixtures add a touch of luxury.

One of the standout features in the kitchen is the use of warm wood mid-century stools at the island. These stools bring warmth and texture to the otherwise crisp and clean design. The combination of the white cabinetry, rich wood, and polished metal creates a kitchen that feels both contemporary and timeless.

Bold Breakfast Room

The Breakfast Room seamlessly connects to the kitchen as part of an open floor plan. A bold, geometric orange and black vinyl rug immediately catches the eye. 

The dining table with hidden leaves, expands to serve 10.  The striking veneer on the back of the chairs feels unique and fresh while the vinyl interiors are functional and easy to clean.

This Main Line Interior Design project is a perfect example of blending timeless elements with fresh, modern details. The end result is a kitchen and breakfast room that are as practical as they are beautiful.

This client reached out to me midway through her kitchen renovation in Newtown Square, PA.  Like many homeowners undergoing large projects, she was overwhelmed by all the decisions that needed to be made to keep the project on track. With the mess, noise, and mounting expenses of a renovation, it’s easy to feel stuck. She realized she needed a home renovation consultant to step in, pull everything together, and make sure her investment was worthwhile.

At that point in her kitchen renovation, there were multiple decisions that couldn’t wait. We needed to choose countertops, paint colors, backsplash materials, and finalize cabinet hardware.  Each choice had to align with the overall aesthetic and functional requirements. Once I stepped in, we made quick, confident selections, ensuring the project stayed on schedule and within budget. My involvement made all the difference in moving forward efficiently, reducing her stress, and preventing costly delays.

A Powder Room Add-on

However, as the kitchen transformation neared completion, something became clear. The adjacent powder room—untouched since the 1980s—now looked severely outdated compared to the new, modern kitchen. The client wanted the powder room to complement the kitchen’s fresh design.

Suddenly, I needed to put together a design plan for the bathroom very quickly.  The contractor was able to incorporate the powder room upgrade into the ongoing kitchen renovation with minimal disruption, ensuring that both areas were completed on time.

Open and Airy

 Interior Designer, Lisa Quale transformed this Media, PA kitchen and dining room into a warm and functional family space.

After moving into this 100+ year old home, our clients sought us out as an Interior Designer for their kitchen remodel.  Because the kitchen hadn’t been updated since the 1950s, the clients were ready for the functionality of an updated kitchen.  They wanted to remove the wall separating the kitchen and dining room to make the rooms more open and airy. We were there every step of the way making decisions and specifications with our clients to ensure this kitchen turned out beautifully.    

At the granite yard, our client was jumping for joy when we found this beautiful white and gray quartzite. The old layout didn’t have an island, but adding one created a place for the kids to do their homework and enjoy family time. 

The indoor-outdoor rug is perfect for dining areas with kids and pets, with a fun pattern that is trendy but affordable to replace as styles change. The beautiful blue draperies and matching valance tie the rooms together with pattern and color.

The completed dining room and kitchen design is comfortable and inviting, while also an elegant space to entertain guests. Our clients love how the rooms flow together to create a place for their family and friends to gather.
